Dea Kudibal AW26: Meet the Modern Goddess

There are some brands you buy because you know they will sell, and then there are the brands you see and immediately think, our customers are going to LOVE this. Dea Kudibal was very much the latter for us.

We’ve always loved beautiful prints at Dotique, but they have to be wearable. We want clothes that feel special when you put them on, but that don’t sit in the wardrobe waiting for a very specific occasion. And that is exactly what drew us to Dea Kudibal.

For Autumn/Winter 2026, we’re so excited to welcome the new Dea Kudibal Modern Goddess collection to Dotique – a collection filled with incredible silk dresses, rich florals, beautiful fabrics and those pieces that really do make getting dressed feel exciting again.

If you’ve shopped with us for a while, you’ll know we LOVE a print.

But more than that, we love finding clothes that make you feel amazing as soon as you put them on.

When we were buying Dea Kudibal, it was the combination of the fabrics, prints and shapes that really stood out. There are dresses you can wear to a wedding with heels, then completely change with a boot. There are beautiful silk pieces that work for dinner, events and holidays. And there are those real wow dresses that need very little styling because the dress does everything for you.

It feels grown-up without ever feeling boring, feminine without being overly pretty, and luxurious while still fitting into a real wardrobe.

Basically, very Dotique.

The inspiration behind Dea Kudibal’s Fall 2026 collection makes us love it even more.

Named Modern Goddess, the collection takes inspiration from designer and embroiderer May Morris and the romantic ideals of the Arts & Crafts movement. Craftsmanship, nature and decoration sit at the heart of the collection, but rather than simply recreating the past, Dea Kudibal has brought those influences into a modern wardrobe.

You can see it throughout the collection: hand-drawn florals, botanical patterns, paisleys and ornamental prints alongside beautiful tactile fabrics.

There’s a lovely contrast between softness and structure too. Flowing dresses sit alongside more defined silhouettes, while silk, jacquard and embroidered textures give the collection richness without making it feel heavy.

The colours are equally gorgeous. Powder Rose and Green Haze bring softer tones, while Maplewood, Soil and Berry Wine introduce those rich autumnal shades. Imperial, Cloud Cream and Black run throughout too, giving the collection plenty of pieces that will work with what you already own.

It feels romantic and nostalgic, but completely wearable now.

And then, of course, there are the dresses …

If you want a proper WOW dress, the DevantiDEA Dress in Florana is it. The bold floral jacquard, fitted bodice, little frilled shoulders and flared midi skirt give it such a beautiful silhouette. We particularly love the denim-inspired detailing because it stops the florals feeling too traditional. Wear it with boots for autumn and then add a heel when you want to dress it up.

The RudyDEA Dress is one of those brilliant pieces that makes looking put together incredibly easy. Made from 90% silk with 10% elastane in Dea Kudibal’s stretch silk twill, it has a relaxed midi shape, V-neckline, long sleeves and beautiful high cuffs. The Eclipse Moonlight print is rich and autumnal without being difficult to wear – we can already see this becoming a favourite with boots.

For something a little more dramatic, there’s the NicoleDEA NS Dress in Reverie Midnight. Its long, slim silhouette is kept beautifully simple, allowing the oversized floral print to become the focus. This is the sort of dress that does all the work for you: minimal accessories, a great pair of shoes and you’re done. We love it for autumn events, dinners and occasions when you want something a little different.

We couldn't resist the KamillesDEA – and actually bought it in two prints. The Reverie Midnight version combines Dea Kudibal’s signature stretch silk with a relaxed mid-calf silhouette, kimono-inspired neckline and deep sleeves. The oversized poppy print gives it real impact, but the easy shape means it doesn't feel overly formal. Add boots for daytime or dress it up when you need to.

Same fabulous KamillesDEA shape, completely different feel. Dentelle Midnight is a softer navy floral that makes this version incredibly easy to style. It's one of those dresses we think you'll reach for again and again because you can completely change it depending on your shoes, jacket and accessories. If you love a dress that earns its place in your wardrobe, this is a very good one.

And finally, the ClaudiaDEA Dress in Dentelle Midnight. This might be one of our favourite shapes of the collection. Made from 90% silk and 10% elastane stretch silk crêpe de Chine, the ruching through the waist is incredibly flattering, while the slightly structured shoulders give the silhouette just enough drama. Finished in that gorgeous navy floral Dentelle Midnight print, it's fabulous with black boots and needs very little else.

What we love most about the Dea Kudibal AW26 Modern Goddess collection is that it doesn't feel dictated by one particular trend.

These are beautiful clothes with personality – gorgeous fabrics, considered shapes and prints that you want to look at properly. They're pieces designed to be worn to the occasions that matter, but also to dinners, lunches and ordinary days when you simply fancy wearing something fabulous.

And that really sums up why we wanted Dea Kudibal at Dotique.

Because we're big believers that the lovely things in your wardrobe shouldn't be kept for best.
