Well… where do we even start with this week?!
The boxes have quite literally not stopped arriving and it definitely feels like new season has properly landed at Dotique. We’ve had new brands, lots of autumn colour, some seriously good trousers and apparently you’ve all been waiting for it too because some pieces have barely made it out of the boxes before they’ve started selling 😂
So, we thought we’d start something new.
Every Sunday, we’re going to bring you This Week at Dotique — a little round-up of what’s arrived, what you’ve been loving, what we’re loving and everything that’s been happening behind the scenes.
And there is PLENTY to talk about this week…
The new brand you didn't hang around for: Oopera
We only managed to get our new Oopera collection unpacked on Thursday afternoon and, before we'd really had chance to show you properly, half the pieces had already sold.
So Katie very quickly jumped in front of the camera because we thought we'd better show you before any more disappeared!
Oopera is completely new to Dotique this season and it's one of those collections that feels a little bit different — exactly what we want when we're choosing new brands.
Restock is already on its way so just click the PREORDER NOW button to get yours reserved - plus we have some new styles on the way.
If something catches your eye, we probably wouldn't hang around too long on this one…
Throwback to when we did the first buy for OOPERA back in February at Harrogate with the gorgeous and lovely Lara from Jonny Drama.
We always have so much fun when we head to Harrogate and this trip was no different, plus we couldn't resist picking up a few of these coats for you lovely ladies.
We're so thrilled at the reaction and can't wait for the new ones to arrive!
Another new arrival: Elan
And we're not finished with the new brands!
Elan has officially arrived at Dotique.
We’re always looking for brands that add something different to the mix rather than buying more of the same, and this collection immediately caught our eye.
It’s fresh, wearable and very easy to mix into the pieces you already own — which, as you know, is always important to us.
Katie has been so excited about this one at Dotique Peak Village and is currently trying to resist taking it all home with her.
You can now shop Elan at Peak Village and online.
You are definitely ready for autumn trousers…
Despite the weather not necessarily getting the memo that autumn is approaching, you have been LOVING the new trousers this week.
The new Robell Efi corduroys have arrived in Navy, Green, Toffee and Sangria and they are such a good autumn trouser.
If you loved Efi when we introduced the shape for summer, this is the same wide-leg style taken into the new season in cord.
We've also had the new Robell Britt leather-look trousers arrive in Black, Prune and Dark Brown — another brilliant option when you want something a little different from jeans.
Denim is having a moment 👖 ( as usual)
We've had SO much new Red Button arriving and there are some really good shapes in the collection this season.
Conny is back for winter in Forever Blue, alongside new Cayla, Caitlina and Colette styles — different leg shapes, different lengths and plenty of options depending on how you like your jeans to fit.
We're actually making September our denim month at Dotique, so expect lots more from us on this.
We want to make choosing jeans online much easier too — explaining the shapes, rises, leg lengths and differences between styles rather than expecting you to somehow work it all out from a photograph!
What You've Been Loving This Week
Elisa Cavaletti Powder Pink Coat 💗
Well, apparently we’re not the only ones completely obsessed with this coat! The Elisa Cavaletti Powder Pink Coat has been one of your favourites this week and we can absolutely see why. It’s a proper investment piece, but one that makes your whole outfit — the gorgeous soft powder pink, longer length and all those signature Elisa Cavaletti textures and details make it completely different to the sea of dark coats we normally see in winter.
We LOVE it styled with chocolate brown this season, but it would look just as fabulous thrown over jeans and a knit. If you’re going to wear a coat nearly every day for months, why shouldn’t it be this fabulous?!
Oopera Reversible Raincoat 🎨
This one has definitely got you talking! The Oopera Reversible Raincoat is one of those pieces that you just don’t see everywhere — the colourful abstract print is inspired by Picasso’s Girl Before a Mirror, but the clever bit is that it completely reverses to plain black, so you’re essentially getting two very different coats in one. We only got Oopera out this week and you were SO quick to start snapping it up. I think this is exactly why we loved the brand when we bought it — it’s fun, colourful and a little bit different, but still completely wearable. And judging by this week, you agree!
Dea Kudibal DevantiDEA Dress 🌸
This has been one of your WOW dresses this week and I’m very happy about it because I absolutely LOVE it too. The DevantiDEA from Dea Kudibal is just gorgeous — the Florana floral jacquard, those little frill shoulders, the fitted top and then that fabulous flared skirt. But it’s the denim-inspired detailing that makes it feel really different and stops it becoming too dressy. I’d wear it exactly as it is with boots now and then dress it up when you’ve got somewhere special to go. It’s definitely an investment at £379, but it’s one of those dresses people will ask you about every single time you wear it.
MAC Dream Wide Cropped Jeans 👖
No surprises here! The MAC Dream Wide Cropped Jeans continue to be one of those styles that you absolutely LOVE — and the new Storm Blue wash has been a favourite this week. They have that brilliant wide, straight-leg shape, but because they’re made from MAC’s super-soft DREAM Wonder Light denim, they have loads of stretch and are ridiculously comfortable too. This is exactly the sort of jean we love at Dotique: easy to throw on with trainers and a knit but smart enough to dress up with a jacket or blouse. And a little sizing tip from us — we recommend going down a size in these.
PAIGE Anessa Rich Chocolate 🤎
Chocolate brown is clearly going nowhere this autumn and you’ve been loving the new PAIGE Anessa in Rich Chocolate this week. The Anessa has that gorgeous high-rise, cropped wide-leg shape that makes it so easy to style, but it’s this colour that has completely got us. Wear them with creams, blues, pinks, burgundy… honestly, so much of the new season works with chocolate brown. They’re a little softer than black but still give you that lovely smart, pulled-together look — and I think we’ll be seeing a LOT of these at Dotique this autumn.
Elisa Cavaletti Black & Ivory Blouse 🖤
Another Elisa Cavaletti favourite this week — and this is such an easy way to wear the brand. The black and ivory print gives you all that gorgeous Elisa personality and detail, but because the colours are so wearable, you can literally put it with black trousers or your favourite jeans and you’re done. It’s made from fluid viscose, so it has that lovely drape too. We love seeing you embracing some of the more special pieces this season — and this is definitely one you’ll pull out again and again.
Haako H2032 Knit Top 🖤
Haako has been such a hit since it arrived at Dotique, and this knit has been one of your favourites this week. It’s easy to see why — at first glance it’s a classic black roll neck, but the swirling stone piping across the body and sleeves makes it feel completely different. It’s one of those pieces that does all the work for you: throw it on with your favourite jeans or black trousers and suddenly the whole outfit feels a bit more interesting. The relaxed fit makes it really easy to wear too, and we LOVE that you’re embracing some of the more unusual pieces from this new brand.
Behind the scenes at Dotique
And finally… THANK YOU.
You've been keeping us ridiculously busy this week.
There have been Royal Mail sacks full of your orders leaving Dotique and we genuinely love seeing what you're choosing — particularly when the new deliveries start selling almost as quickly as we can get them onto the website.
There's still so much newness to show you too. Part Two, Cream, Foil, Vilagallo and plenty more have been arriving, so if you haven't looked at New In for a few days, it is definitely worth another look.
And then we'll be back here next Sunday to tell you what you've all been buying!
