Why We Love It

This is a really special Maison Hotel jacket. The Breton is made from cotton velvet in a gorgeous jade green, with multicoloured embroidered trims that really stand out against the deeper background.

It has a simple round neckline and button front, with two patch pockets and a slightly longer 58cm length. There’s plenty going on, so we’d keep everything else simple — jeans, a plain top and this over the top.

Sophie says: This is exactly the sort of jacket I think Maison Hotel does brilliantly. I’d wear it with jeans and a white tee and not overthink it — the colours and embroidery do all the work.
